We are one of Birmingham's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies and are currently seeking highly motivated professional Drywall/Sheetrock Repair Craftsman with skills in multiple trades. You will work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Birmingham and nearby areas.

Experienced Drywall / Sheetrock Repair Craftsman Qualifications:
- Job duties include but are not limited to sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment, ensuring that all supplies are used safely, complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high quality of work
- Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster
- Repairing cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels
- Concealing any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface
- Layering plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface
- Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface
- Skimming the surface with a final layer of plaster in preparation for finishing work
- Managing and maintaining all the required equipment for the job
- Keeping your customer & supervisor abreast of your progress and reporting any job-related issues
- Ensuring that all equipment and material are safely and effectively used
- Maintain clean workspace
Other Preferred Skills & Duties:
- Able to analyze a problem independently with strong problem-solving skills to determine a prompt solution
- Prepare estimate on repairs along with timeline and budge to present to customer in a professional manner
- Conduct repairs or complete projects in the trades of carpentry, titling, drywall, plumbing and electrical work and other handyman work
- Ability to effectively communicate with other craftsman’s, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, commercial customers, and Ace Handyman Management regarding projects, timelines, and budgets
- Must be able to manage project from start to finish and complete within estimate and/or budget
- Must produce quality Craftsmanship that delivers 100% customer satisfaction
